The Lycée International has a network of partner schools in the surrounding towns in order to maximize the number of students enrolled in its international sections. The American Section program is run on three different campuses. Courses are harmonized so that students on all three campuses benefit from the same high-caliber instruction.
The Ecole Schnapper is a French elementary school (Grades 1 – 5/CP – CM2) located in St. Germain-en-Laye. The school integrates students from the American and Spanish sections alongside French children from the neighborhood. There is one American Section class of 12-20 students at each grade level.
The Collège Marcel Roby is a French middle school (Grades 6 – 9/Sixième - Trosième), located in the center of St. Germain en Laye. As at the Ecole Schnapper, students from the American and Spanish sections study with French children from the neighborhood. The American Section enrolls approximately 40 students per grade, divided into two classes.
The student body of the Lycée International de St. Germain-en-Laye is comprised of children between the ages of four and eighteen; all are enrolled in one of the establishment’s fifteen International Sections. It accommodates the entire Upper School, about 350 students per grade, of which 60 are in the American Section. The Middle School is relatively small, about 160 students per grade, of which approximately 20 students are in the American Section. The vast majority of our Lower School students are enrolled on the Lycée International campus, either as externés or full-time. Here, the American Section offers one class per grade in Pre-K and Kindergarten (moyenne and grande sections), and two classes per grade in Grades 1 – 5 (CP – CM2).
