A Word from the Director

Welcome to The American Section of the Lycée International de Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

Ours is a truly unique multicultural environment that prepares students to lead impactful lives. In the exceptional context of the Lycée International de Saint-Germain-en-Laye and its fourteen international sections, young people are exposed to the cultural and linguistic touchstones of America while studying in one of France’s premier public schools. 

A typical day in the life of one of our students can include reading the classics of American literature in the morning, and studying physics in French alongside a Japanese peer that same afternoon. In a world that now more than ever needs cultural understanding and empathy, the American Section of the Lycée International is proud of the education our future global contributors receive.
