American Section Communication:

The Government of France has extended the current lockdown for 19 departments for all of metropolitan France, effective 12:01 a.m. Saturday, April 3. The current nationwide curfew will remain in effect from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. daily. Under the lockdown provisions, you are limited to travel within 10 km of your residence during the day and you must carry proof of address. Interregional travel is banned beginning the evening of April 5.

With the start to another school year upon us, I thought that I should write to send you all my very best wishes for a successful school year. I would also like to personally reassure you that we in Section have received clear instructions from our French colleagues at our three campuses regarding the health protocol currently in place. All of you would have learned on Tuesday that France is planning a staggered return to school for many of its 15 million school-age children. Ma Classe à la Maison

Le ministère de l’éducation nationale, de la jeunesse et des sports et le CNED ont décidé de réactiver, sur tout le territoire national, le dispositif Ma classe à la maison afin d’accompagner les besoins éventuels de continuité pédagogique. 

Ainsi, depuis ce 7 septembre, les trois plateformes sont accessibles, gratuitement, à tous les élèves et à tous les enseignants qui souhaitent les utiliser.
