Beyond the Classroom

A core American Section value is that learning extends beyond the traditional classroom into hands-on experiences, which we explore in this section of the website.

Students are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of co-curricular activities.

To ensure student wellness, a Student Support Program accompanies students as they grow. This takes the form of character education in the Lower School and a student advisory in the Middle and Upper schools.

Students take multiple class trips in and beyond France, and benefit from campus visits from artists, writers, scholars, and health professionals.

Our global citizenship activities develop leadership, global awareness, community service, and engagement.

Finally, the American Section also builds community among students, parents, faculty, and staff through a wide variety of social events.
